Camp JC Sponsorship

Location: YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly, Black Mountain, NC

Each year, we take up to 100 youth ages 7 – 18 to the Blue Ridge mountains to have a personal experience with Jesus Christ. The heart of Camp JC is to cultivate Junior Christians for Jesus Christ. In the mountains, the children experience something remarkable, unique, and unforgettable – they encounter Jesus!

Knowing Jesus at an early age has so many benefits:

• It builds character, integrity, and faith.
• It creates an internal compass that will help youth avoid many of life’s trials.
• It creates a foundation for the church to build upon.
• It prepares our children to have a personal, authentic, and intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

The church of today is responsible for the church of tomorrow. That starts when we cultivate our youth, and we need your help.

Our goal each year is to provide a faith-filled and fun environment with the right preaching, teaching, activities, and mentorship that will help our youth go higher and further in their faith. We are extending our faith to God that Camp JC will be among the best experience and memories of the campers’ lives! We truly believe we are Fit for the Challenge, and we hope you will join us.

Fit for the Challenge Silver Sponsor

For only $35 you can sow to sponsor a week’s worth of Camp JC t-shirts for a child. T-shirts provide a sense of belonging and create strong community as we reinforce our Camp theme. When the campers wear the same shirt, they become unified, and their identity focuses on Christ and not on what they are wearing. Our goal is to have one donor per child to help offset the cost of the camp to parents. Some families send multiple children, so this becomes a huge blessing to them.

Fit for the Challenge Gold Sponsor

For only $250 you can sow a seed by sending a child to camp! As a church, we would never turn a child away, and we do everything we can to ensure that a child that wants Jesus, will be able to go to the mountains to meet Jesus. Imagine how different your life might have been if you had this opportunity when you were between 7 -18 years old. Studies show that a child’s belief blueprint is set by the time they are 11. We must get ahead of the world and show our youth the beauty of believing in Christ above all else.

Fit for the Challenge Platinum Sponsor

For only $285 you can sow a seed that will send a child to camp AND provide their t-shirts for the week. With this donation, you take care of the entire need of a child, and we take care of the rest.

Fit for the Challenge Angel Sponsor

You choose the amount, and we will use the funds to create a mountaintop experience. A true atmosphere where faith grows, kids change, and God is glorified! As a Fit for the Challenge Angel Sponsor, you will help us offset the cost of our volunteer staff, vendors, transportation, lodging, food costs, and exhilarating activities such as whitewater rafting and high ropes courses for our youth.

We understand that this level of giving is personal, and we assure you that your name and donation amount will be kept confidential at your request. However, this level of giving is a true work of the heart, and we thank our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for your generosity.
